A couple of weeks ago we found this in the hen house. Not sure which of the six did it? This was a one time incident, haven't seen it since. What could this be? Anything that we need to do/be concerned about?

Well, if nothing has happened since you saw it, I would think you don't need to worry... do your birds range? If so, it might just be from something they ate.

Help! Found this in the coop this morning. Any idea what it is?

Looks like it *might* be a lash egg... put lash egg in your search bar and check out the threads... can also put weird egg in the search bar for other odd eggs... one time happenings are usually nothing to worry about, especially if you have new layers...

Btw, your 1st pics look like shed intestinal lining... that happens once in a while and as long as all are active and healthy no need to worry... hope this helps! :)

Thank you so much!

Ok here's what ive noticed from my girls. 5/6 girls have a full big bright combs. 1 of the girls comb is really small just like when she had just started growing it (I'll try to get a pic) all seem ok and are active. Wonder if this is any indication of who could have done the "lash egg?" Any info helpful! :/
