one of my Hygrometers is 14 degrees off and the other is 10, I do have another one that is 1 degree off all of which read low. Dumb things

Chicks dont die that early from humidity, Disease, weak breeding stock, or temp. trouble. to high or to low. My guess double check temps.

yeah that sytupid little giant incubator spiked up to about 104! th funny thing is i opened all the eggs and out of 11 only the one in pictures 2,3 get to that state the rest looked like #1 how wierd is that...

Ok here is my advice on the LG. Get it set up to kick off at 101(still air) top of egg. Then dont adjust after that, with the smaller watts of the heating unit, it takes some time to recover temp. longer after putting eggs in. Better on the cool side than to high, the high temp. is a killer.
Another reason to keep in a room about 75 or higher. Onces these waffer thermostat are set, they should alway kick off at the same temp. Problem when people see the low temp, first thing they do is adjust it up, then after some time the temp get up to the new setting.

True dat. Once I got mine set at about 100 (top of eggs) it held steady. I didn't adjust it at all. Every morning and night I took the top off, turned the eggs and put the top back on - it came back up and settled back at the right temp without any tweeking.
