Its pendulous and filled with clear fluid. I don't know what to do, I am so upset. Its not coming from the umbilicus, its like a balooning off the abdomen Karen

Im not sure...are you just looking at the area the yolk is absorbed??? Is this your first time hatching or do you have some other hatches to compare it too?? But you said off the abdomen, right?? Hmmm....

Honestly-either way- all you can do is wait and see how the chick does. If he/she eats, drinks and is active then keep your fingers crossed. Stranger things have happen. I hatched a button quail with one eye missing - 1 month later he is small but strong!

Good luck for your little chick. Hopefully someone else can add something helpful.

I had a little silkie hatch from eggs that I paid a fortune for last spring, It had the same thing pop up on the side of his neck,
It was bigger than a dime. I got on line to ask what the deal was and a couple hours later it poped or something, I never did find out what the deal was. It never got infected or anything, I always thought it got pocked by the egg shell or something.
He is 1 1/2 years old and perfect.

I sure hope you have a good out come.
I can't tell from the pic but I think your bubble looks bigger.

I'm wondering if I should just lance it. It appears to be an area of the abdomen which maybe got stuck to the egg, and when the chick was born, it stretched the skin out? It has fluid in it, clear.
The chick is chirping, and drinking. I haven't seen her eat yet, but she is very alert. The only thing she does weird is fall asleep standing up (?)
I just can't stop crying. We are so attached to her.

Are the other chicks picking on her? Is so, you might want to put her in something so she can get some sleep.
Has she pooed yet? She just may need to release some. I wouldn't pop it!

I'm not sure about the bump but my day old chicks fell asleep standing up and they are fine so I would't worry about that.
