Help! What's wrong with my Goldie???

My Golden Sex Link was holding her wing funny so I grabbed her to check it out and this is what I found... Any ideas what it could be? It breaks my heart thinking she is hurting!

I've got old eyes but what are we looking at? Is it a lesion or tear in the skin or some kind of growth? Is it seeping, looks moist?
