Help! Why won't my chickens use their New Waterier & Feeder?

Hello BYC & Thanks in Advance!

I recently moved my chickens from the brooder to the their coop and run. In the run they have a 7 lb feeder hanging as well as a hanging chicken nipple waterier. I have yet to see the my chicken eat out of the feeder or drink from the chicken nipples. They are still using the small feeder and waterier I had in the brooder. They are very small compared to the size of the chickens now and I am having to refill them several times a day. My chickens are allowed to free range the yard during the day and go in to the coop at night on their own. I showed them where the food is and how to use the waterier but they just don't seem to be getting it. They are not very fond of me maybe that could be the issue and they don't pay attention? I have been holding them since they were a day old but they just never got use to me I guess. The run when they see me.

They are creatures of habit, remove the old waterer and feeder completely and show them the new ones, they will catch on when they have no choice...
