Help! Will my quail egg survive?

I accidently dropped one a few centimeters or so during candling...

Fortunately the egg does not seem to have any cracks...or anything. It just looks whole and good.
Is the baby inside safe? I hope it can take the shock...

yes I've candled it. It's all dark like it's supposed to be along with 4 other eggs

most likely its ok. if it would have fallen hard enough to crack it then probably not.but since it didnt it should be ok. all that fluid in there makes alot of cushioning lol.

Sorry, I meant have you candled it after dropping it to see if the baby is still o.k? Though you'll probably have to wait a bit before you can tell. But those little things are so tough, I think it'll be o.k. Keep us posted.

If it's quite far along in incubation or at least over 3 days which I assume it is as you said the egg was dark when candled then it should be fine providing no cracks are within the shell

It's about a week more or less now. No cracks from what I've seen too. It's quite dark too :O

@sumi- And yes I candled it. But it's all dark inside so I can't really see whether the baby is okay or not. Quail egg.

I wonder if anyone did a shock test and survivability rate... Oh this is so worrisome I feel like a new mother haha
