Help with 1st show

i'm new to this forum and to chicken keeping.
I was looking at the poultry schedule for Staffs County Show and i noticed some of the classes were AOC, could anyone please tell me what this means?
I have a Sussex Cockerel and Rhode Island Red hens and I was also wondering if anyone could help me with good breed standards of these?
one last question could anyone please tell me how you prepare a chicken for a show?

AOC is All Other Classes consist of birds that don't fit in the other classes like Asiatic, American, English, Mediterranean. your Sussex will be in the english class and the RIR will be american. if you do some more posts then you can post some pictures of your birds. showing can be a lot of fun.
