Help! New chick hatched today her legs don’t appear spraddled but she isn’t bearing much weight through them. I just bought her today after she came out of the incubator and her siblings while they are also clumsy seem to be holding their weight up. I tried the band aid trick but she flopped down on her stomach and started screaming. I don’t see any indication of a slipped tendon.

I don't know much about leg problems other then slipped tendons but, I'm sure pictures or videos would help others who do know.

1) What type of bird, age and weight.
Type: Blue Marans.
Age: 12 or so hours
Weight: Normal
Comparison to others: others are weight bearing more

2) What is the behavior, exactly.

She seems to be hobbling around more than effectively weight bearing on legs. She has mobility it’s just limited.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
I noticed it when I put her in the brooder as soon as I got home

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No.

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Nothing

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Chick feed and electrolyte water

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Normal

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
I attempted a hobble but removed because she fell on her stomach and started screaming

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I would like to remedy this at home

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
See video

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Housing: a brooder with 18 other chicks. Idk what kind of brooder she was in at the breeder. She had wood shavings in the box they gave her to me in. She is on paper towel in our brooder.
