My 10 year old daughter got these chicks yesterday from TSC to add to her flock she is raising for her 4H project for fair. (We went for feed left with feed and chicks lol) The very bottom one she was told were coronation Sussex and her quick look in the blue book didn’t show that coloring but she went ahead and got the to use for eggs to sell to neighbors who buy eggs off her. She likes to when she gets new chicks look them up online and she said she thinks the bottom ones might be speckled Sussex not coronation Sussex but that they might also be something else. The other 4 are clean legged bantams from the bantam bin. She’s searched online all evening yesterday but said she was coming up clueless on what breed they could be. Anyone have suggestions of what they could be? Or is it to soon to know?
The bantams are the ones she is really trying to figure out cause she likes to use bantams for her showmanship bird since they are smaller and easier for her to hold in some of the show poses over large birds.
