Hello! I'm new to chickens and have a group of ten chicks from Hoover's Hatchery. They were supposed to be a mix of standard and "rare" chicks. But I'm thinking I just got two different kinds. I have 6 yellow and red ones (one of those has very little red...more blonde) And the other four look like Barred Rocks (or Dominickers) but three of those have flat combs...only one has a comb with any type of "raised nobs" on it. These chicks were three weeks old on Monday. Can you tell me if there are more than two breeds here? The first two pictures are at two and a half weeks. It shows the backs of the suspected BR a little better than the other...Thanks

Ahh....What indicates that? The comb color? or markings on head (or lack of)

They were supposed to be all pullets...that picture is from last night. They were three weeks old on Monday
Okay. That one chick is a rooster, but I don't see any other obvious roosters. Maybe you could post individual pics?
