Help with breed and sex

She looks an awful lot like my bantam Wyandottes did at that age; dunno if that's what she is, but she is probably definitely a bantam something.

These chickens belong to a friend. She did find out that there are black copper maran's in the flock where they came from so that explains the rooster. She was told there were no bantams in the flock though so we have no idea what is up with the little white chick. Will be interesting to see as it grows what it looks like. Is it possible such a tiny chicken could come from a flock of normal sized chickens?
