HELP WITH BROODY HEN AND HATCHING EGGS.

I have a Broody hen and I counted the days she's been sitting, and it's past 21, it's day 23, I know that the days are 21. How many days do I have to wait? like 21-26?
what is the longest the eggs have not hatched????
I have a rooster, and I know for a fact that the eggs ARE fertile.

I would not throw the towel in on her yet. Did you candle any of them to check for growth? I have read over and over on here of people who have went to day 23 and then the hatching started, perhaps they don't really get started the day you gave them to her or maybe they didn't stay hot enough and it slowed some growth. I would candle them first, and give her another day or two if you see growth.

Perhaps someone else with lots of broody experience will jump in and offer some insight.
