help with coop breeding pen design!

Okay.... I plan on breeding and raising silkies. I have 2 dozen chicks right now. I have only one 8 X 10 coop with a 6 X 8 run. I have one design thats a pdf file so I cant upload it here. I can email it to you if you want to see it. I wanted to know who has a coop that is divided into smaller breeding pens. I would like to see your ideas please. Or can anyone come up with a way to divide an 8 X 10 coop that is efficient for breeding? I dont even know if I should flock breed, breed in trios, pairs, or quads. I am still completely torn! Any advice on what to do is welcomed!

The only way that I could see an 8x10 coop being split, would possilby be in 4 ways. But, each 1/4 would need a run attached.

That would be (4) 4x5's so 20 sq ft each. That would be a max of 5 Silkies per section, but I am sure you could fit 6. They would need a run of at least 50 sq ft each.

I would build two runs on each side and 2 runs off the back.

How many colors do you have?
