Help with egg hatching

Hello, this is my first time hatching quail eggs. me and my sister are both hatching eggs but my sister got her button quail eggs 5 days later so I was wondering if I could put cotton on the bottom of my eggs so my eggs wont spin but my sister's will.

What kind of incubator is it?

If this were me, I would just say hers need a longer lockdown. The last week of egg turning isn't as important as the first two. Assuming you're doing a three-day lockdown, you could compromise and go one less day of lockdown so hers would only have 4 days of extra lockdown.

Five days is least I do when doing staggered hatches, seven is better, but you most likely won't have her eggs pipping while your quail are still in the incubator.
