Help with egg laying!

I too think closer to 5+ months. Not sure where you are from, but I swear this heat could slow them down too. Here SD it has just been brutal for at least 10 days.

Hey guys, Id like to provide an update on this and I forgot to mention, about 3 weeks ago we had a fox kill roughly 8 birds during the day while we were free ranging. I think that startled the flock and could a reason as well. Theyre still laying 1-2 eggs per day total. They have open access to feed in the coop so I'm not sure if its a nutrients thing or if maybe the ducks are dominating things outside the coop and in the run, we are re-homing 2 silkie roosters this weekend to see if that helps with things. Like you said previously, maybe its an age thing, I did find an egg without the shell yesterday someone laid under the roosting bars so could be a nutrition issue.

Giving the ducks their own run with duck house and pond will lower the stress for both flocks as their living requirements are quite different and your chicken hens could get easily hurt by drakes trying to mate them.

And as you already mentioned, there are two roosters/cockerels too many. Your flock will noticeably relax when they are gone.
Can 5 turkeys and 6 ducks be housed in the same run if its 5'x20' and the ducks have a house as well as the turkes having an enclosure?
