Today my 5 month old female pekin Guinevere started limping very badly. I have only had her for about two weeks. She had been acting normally up until this morning. Yesterday I had some company over and my toddler and a guest were chasing both of my pekins. I have a video and a picture i will attach to help give more information in the beginning. I am new to this forum but am desperate for some help. Guinevere did alot of resting today and hardly foraged for food. I fed her throughout the day and had to carry her to the pool for her to get water and bathe. She would walk and then stumble alot! I could catch her very easily which isnt normal behavior for her at this time. I started doing some research because it seemed more to me than just a sprained ankle or what not. Two days after I got my first pekin male (Lancelot) he had started walking with a limp due to toddler chasing him and roosters going after him. He recovered after a few days. Well after researching for Guinevere i came to the knowledge that bumblefoot is very common for ducks. My husband and I brought her in the light and assessed her. I have pictures of the bottom of her foot as well as a video of how she was acting this morning. Throughout the day she seemed to be putting more weight on the injured leg. We did an epsom salt compress when we brought her in the house. Please give advice as to what i can do to help her .
