Help With Grooming

I have 3 Cornish Rock Crosses I am putting in the fair, this is my first time entering, does anyone have any ideas about bathing, grooming, and etc?
If so, I really need the help, thanks a lot!

Bathe the chickens with any kind of soap and water three days before the showing to let the natural oils shine the feathers. Keep them in a cage with food and water, so that they will not get dirty again, and they will also get used to it.

Thanks! Is there any specific soap I should use? I've heard talk about using Mane and Tail shampoo, and Woolite

Also, before you bathe them use sevins dust to get the mites off.
