Bought this sweet girl from a local lady. She referred to this as a "black feather foot"..... What might she be?? She is a few months old at this point

The dark eyes, white skin and black feathers make me think australorp, but the feathered feet, crest (tiny, so likely only 1/4 crested breed), beard and not straight comb . As such, speculating that 1 parent is australorp (or mix) and the other an EE x feather footed breed. The extra toe on one foot says bearded silkie or faverolle as likely sources for the beard, feathered feet, and the extra toe. The heavy feathering on the feet actually makes me think BOTH parents have feathered feet, so both likely mixes.

The crest could be from the silkie or from a polish or legbar, all likely grandparents. Silkies typically have black skin and as she has no signs of that, I think the silkie (if it is) is at least as far back as grandparent, maybe farther back.

If she lays blue or green eggs, EE in the background is more likely.

She's a pretty little thing.
