My niece found these in the back of her townhouse complex. They are definitely not wild, one of them is very tame and the other is a bit skittish but tame enough she could easily catch it. She scooped them up because of the cats in the area and gave them to me. I just have my first baby coturnix in a grow out pen, so I'm a newb to all this. Can someone tell me what they are? Their coloring is very similar, one just has a little white patch on its throat. Two days, no eggs or crowing, but they've been traumatized by various boxes and crates.

Thanks, that was my best guess. I'll have to let them settle a bit before I figure out male/female.
