Hey everyone!
Okay, so this is my ~one month old chicken! She's supposed to be a cornish bantam, but her feather pattern and leg color are unusual for the breed, so I've been told it's likely she's a mix. Anyone have any ideas?

Could be a mix, or an Easter Egger. But I think that I'm beginning to see a potential crest, so maybe Appenzeller Spitzhauben. Where'd you get it?

It was part of a large bunch of eggs my teacher purchased for our biology class so all I know is that it's from Wisconsin. The egg was bantam sized and a light tan color. I'm almost sure it's some kind of mutt. Someone else has mentioned that breed, and also a golden campine. The feathers and comb match the campine but the crest indeed fits with the appenzeller.

True, I thought Campine or Hamburg as well, but the buff breast is not a characteristic of either breed. If the egg was tinted then it's probably not any of the breeds aforementioned by us, as they all lay white eggs. It's probably a mixed breed.
