help with info

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! There are many large breeds that are available depending on what other requirement are from them and not just egg laying. Cold/heat tolerant how they would interact with any other flock members you may have. The breed section would be a great place to start for lots of reviews on the differing breeds. Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. The largest standard breed of chicken is the Jersey Giant. Males typically run 13 lbs. and females 10 lbs. and they are pretty good layers of brown eggs (3-4 eggs per week per hen). Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
