I currently have red golden pheasants and am going to be getting some silver pheasant chicks soon. Can I breed them in a trio or quad like the red goldens or do I need to keep them only in pairs. Thanks in advance for any advice!

They are best bred with at least 3 hens or more. They are very aggressive breeders. My male meets me at the door every day and wants to fight anything that moves. But I like em that way, because every aggressive male I have seen has been an excellent breeder with lots of fertile eggs for years.

That's exactly what I was wondering. I know my golden males can be rather relentless at times. Thanks for the advice!
