I got 4 buff orpingtons from meyer hatchery , sexed. But this one looks different from the rest with is big red comb and large feet . Im a first time chicken owner so any help would be great. Thanks.

Yep I am going to vote cockerel too. My 2 B.O. hens didn't get any red at all till they were a couple weeks from lay at 20 weeks.

I think so to. My other 3 do not have this red comb. He also acts different. First to try anything. Watches everything. My son's are hoping for one rooster out of the bunch. My husband not so much.....Lol

If you are able to have roosters they are nice to have sometimes but only 3 hens to one rooster can he a bit rough on the hens sometimes as he tears them up while mating sometimes. If he is a good rooster then he is nice to alert them to danger and watch over them for free ranging. Also nice if you have room for subsequent chicks. B.O.'s are generally nice easy going birds but sometimes a rooster can be ornery. Read up on how to deal with teenage behavioral problems when they crop up.
