I have a 6 month old call drake, and he just recently started mating behavior. I go out there this afternoon and his special drake part is hanging out, just a couple inches. I know this is a rather awkward and uncomfortable discussion:p……but can anyone tell me if this is this a prolapse or just him figuring everything out since he’s new to this? I can post pictures…….. but I’m not sure people want that? Thanks.

Is it still hanging out? Or did it go back in?

If it look reddish, you can treat it with hydrocortisone. If it is not going back in at all, you can also soak him in an epsom salt bath to help with swelling. If it says out for a long time you will want to separate him so it doesn't get yanked on by females. Sometimes they see it as a worm.

I'm pretty sure if you talk about size, that the size varies depending on season, corkscrew shape, counter corkscrew shape of female, her dead ends, stings of developing eggs you will be abandoned by the adults and teenagers. Mind you, the 8 to 12 year old's will be totally engrossed.
