Help! My baby duck was born yesterday and can't walk and keeps having seizures. Its legs keep spreading apart when it tries to walk.

So, the ducks head keeps shaking uncontrollably and like it tries to walk but I don't think that it can keep its chest up.

Try b complex and niacin supplements, you can get these at the grocery store.

Liquid might be easier to dose but pill or tablets aren't hard to give.

Look up splay leg and you can fix it with hobbles.




also get liquid b complex TSC carries it. It will say injectable but we use it orally. here is the dose
The dosage will vary accordingly to age, currently, we go:

• A few drops a day, for newly hatched ducklings
• 1/4ml, once a day, for ducklings 5-7 days old
• 1/2ml, once a day, for ducklings 7-14 days old
• 1.0ml, once a day for duck(lings) older than 14 days

just tiny drops right inside the bill make sure it swallows after each drop.
