Hello everyone I have been following this site for years but haven’t really posted anything. I need some help with my beautiful girls. I had one last Wednesday that just became lethargic, breastbone was very prominent, not egg bound, crop OK, No respiratory problems, no worms, no Mites,No ulcers or crusty formations around nostrils. She just stopped moving and I brought her home kept her warm and then she just laid down and died, had no energy left in her. Her name was chicken hawk and she was a beauty. Yesterday I saw my prized Houdan sitting out by herself which was highly unusual. Everyone came in but her. She had all the same signs as chicken hawk and I brought her home gave her a little bit of nourishment and she died a few minutes ago. Her name was Beatnick. I am noticing one that’s getting a little slow she’s one of my bantams. I have not changed feed, everything has stayed the same. The only thing here in Texas is we’ve gotten colder weather but they’ve always been used to that. They’re up at night completely concealed from the weather. Live in a very healthy and clean environment. So can someone please help me. I am So upset. I know chickens and Owned them for years ... have not experienced this
