Help with Nesting Box and Chicken dropping eggs on floor

[1Speckled Hen w/Chicks]

We have some due any day to lay----we have 1 Ceramic egg nestled in each nest(with pine shavings....) so they will get the real idea of what we are wanting!!

They get up and look at them--like-they know they are supposed to do something--but havent figured it all out yet!!

fake eggs actually work!

but i find, if i go get a supermarket cartton egg...it works just as well

I bought my chicks from DeYoung's Farm and Garden. The two newer chicks came from a lady in Lynnwood.

I found fake white eggs and it seems to be doing the trick! I need another nest box though. One time two were laying at same time
