Okay so I have a younger little girl who would love to be mixed with my older ducks but she's in danger every single time. My one boy absolutely hates her, and tries going after her alllll the time! But my one girl; she's such a sweetheart, absolutely loves the baby. And my other duckling (still trying to figure out if it's a boy or girl.. Hard decision) is such a follower of my boy and barely has its own mind but is a little better with the baby then he is. I want to keep them all but in scared of ever leaving her alone with them. And she wants to be with them soooo soooo bad :( how do I try and get him to accept her. He kicks her out of the flock every time. And she is smaller then what she should be at the point because she was hatched smaller but my girl lovessss her!!! From the very start (:

If your one female accepts the duckling and you know for a fact she has then why not put them two together till the duckling is much larger then try to combine all of them. Adult ducks especially drakes can kill young ducklings so it's always best to keep them separated through fencing side by side and let everyone get use to each other. that gives babies a chance to get to adult size and keep anyone from getting injured or killed.

Welcome to BYC.
