I put the watering nipples into pvc and sealed it of with aquarium silicone. I did the same with the bucket by attaching a cut garden hose to the bottom then into an elbow pvc pipe. I caked on the silicone, but it all leaked like crazy. Please help me if you can, I would like to get this all set up so I can continue setting the yard up.

I just finished the same set-up and I hear you on the frustration of getting it not to leak! The issue was where the garden hose attached to the bottom of the bucket, even when I used copious amounts of sealant. What finally worked was swapping out the pvc fittings I was using for brass ones with an o-ring between the nut and bucket, and lots of thread tape. I didn't even have to use any glue/sealant with the new parts so I'll be able to dismantle it if ever needed. I hope this helps!
