To be 100% honest, if you're unable to find an ideal avian vet to help fix her leg, letting it heal on it's own will likely result in its own set of challenges and could likely not heal well. If it doesn't heal well, her quality of life would not be great. You can always give it a shot and see how she does, but I do strongly encourage seeing if your vet would be willing to prescribe Meloxicam to help with pain/inflammation and look into prescribing a calcium supplement to help get her calcium levels where they need to be. Broken bones in birds are challenging to fix, but not impossible, if your vet knows what they are doing.Since she has issues with calcification resulting in rather brittle bones in some areas. And there is no vet that deal with birds here, I guess I just have to put her down.
