Help with school chicks

We got ten chicks from my son's 4th grade class and we are wondering what breed they might be. Three are tannish and are starting to get black marks on their wing feathers. The others are pale yellow and some of these have darkish smudges on their heads. All are approaching one week old.

Once they start to feather out, it will be much easier to tell breed (and gender), but maybe someone has a suggestion as to what breed they could be

Thanks.... I'm so impatient!! When I picked them up on Friday, one had a splayed leg. I put more bedding in the box as there was little to none and it seemed to help him/her. But now it's gotten bad again. So I'm trying the bandaid method and have put it in its own box so it can rehab without brothers and sisters pecking at its feet.
