Help with sex and possibly breed of chicks!

Hello all!
I had a hen go broody so a neighbor who has a flock of mixed chickens gave me three eggs he thought were fertile. They were medium to large tan eggs. Two hatched and I’m just curious what anyone thinks they may be. I have a suspicion the grey one is a cockerel possibly Marans mix and the tan one possibly Welsummer mix hopefully pullet! Both chicks are 18 days old in pictures. I am very new to this so any ideas on breed and sex would be great! Thanks in advance!

I think you are right about genders and breeds. There is no way to know for sure with mixes, though. They could have parents who are also mixes.

Yep, looks like 1 is a boy and 2 is a girl. And my legbar chicks looked like your pullet at that age so likely a similar looking bird welsummer/legbar type cross maybe. Adorable either way
