Help with sexing Cuckoo Maran Chicks

I'M Hatching Cuckoo Maran eggs and see that some chicks have dark legs and some have light legs. Can anyone tell me male or female from this?

I have a 15 week old Cuckoo Maran Roo and it had light legs as a chick.

They are supposed to have white or pink shanks the females are darker than the males and sometimes the males have a larger spot on their head. If you still can't tell go to the Marans thread and post pictures we love pictures
