Yesterday one of my roosters suddenly became lethargic and his eyes, wattle and comb are swollen and yellowish.

He does not seem to be eating or drinking and not moving much
He seems very sick any ideas what it might be?

How does he smell? I would apply a warm wet compress to the sides of his face and eyes, to soak off the yellow drainage. You can clean his eyes twice a day with saline or eye wash. Then apply a small dab of Terramycin eye ointment (from feedstores.) Do you hear any sneezing, coughing, or wheezing? Try to get him drinking some fluids with electrolytes or a little sugar, and offer some moistened chicken feed and scrambled egg. Has he been picked on by another rooster, or kept from food and water?

What’s in your feed? Sometimes yellowish skin can be caused by the ingestion of marigolds, although I agree that it is a very vivid hue.
Check to make sure that no other chickens have it.

Also could be egg yolk on his face, especially if you have had some broken or missing eggs. Look him over under his vent and elsewhere for any mites or lice. How many roosters do you have? Is there any fighting or protecting feed going on. Have you wormed recently?

You had another thread last month, is this the same bird or a different one?
If the same bird he had some yellow crusts already showing up, did he get better only to decline again or has he been in a state of decline this whole time.

Can you get a couple of photos of the back of his comb without the feathers sticking to it, looks like it's swollen and has pus.

He has lice or mites? Yes? Have you treated him with anything?

What's the inside of his beak look like?
Any of that yellow crusty material inside the ears?
