Help with the "egg squat" anyone?

My girl did lay hers in the nest box and for it being the first time I was very impressed! It wasn't the nest I expected though; the others have been explored or messed up more.

I have heard the egg song of and on for about a week and this morning I heard three or four voices singing along so I thought for sure there would be an egg in there when I went to let them out but there wasn't. Maybe when I get home from work?

Maybe they are all different... mine squatted before they sang.
