Help--wormy chicken/s!

I just discovered what appear to be worms in my chicken's poop. They look like angel hair pasta--about 1.5 to 2 inches long. I have 1 rooster and 8 hens. I don't know which one it is and I don't think I can catch them all to treat them all. Please advise on what my treatment options are. I also have a couple that have had runny poop for awhile. Is there something that I can just put in their water to take care of it? I'm new at this and didn't even know they got worms. They all seem happy and healthy. I don't live near a feed store so I will need to know exactly what to order from the internet. All help appreciated!

Those are probably roundworms, but there can be several others in chickens that can't be seen easily. SafeGuard Liquid Goat wormer (fenbandzole) 1/2 ml by mouth for each full size chicken, then repeat in 10 days. The SafeGuard Equine Paste or Panacur Paste are also the same medicine, and the dosage is 1 pea size amount per chicken by mouth. They get most worms except tapeworm which most don't have. Valbazen gets all worms, and dosage is 1/2 ml, repeat in 10 days. The only good wormer that gets more than round worm for use in the water would be Wormout Gel, and it is given over 2 days. Don't use Wazine as it only gets round worm. Here are some links:

Eggcessive & Dawg53--Thank you for your response! I have concerns on being able to catch them all to make sure I get the one or two that I think are infected to try and give them something by mouth individually.
So--there is really nothing that I can just add to their water? A few of them will let me pick them up but Fred, the rooster, and several of the hens are determined that I do not EVER touch them. I've tried everything I've read on trying to get them to come to me--they just won't. If I get them on their roost--the others just go crazy. Any suggestions? And also, do I need to throw their eggs away for awhile after I worm them?

Yes, re-read the post and link above. Wormout Gel can be put in the water for 2 days. It gets all chicken worms. I just used it on my chickens. It is more expensive than SafeGuard, though. Wazine can be put in the water also, but only gets round worms.

Thank you Eggcessive--I'm sorry--I re-read the post after I posted the question--I think I just got stuck on the whole thought of how I was going to catch them all! lol Got some Wazine today bc that is all the place that I was at had in stock. Will try that. Keep in mind that I am new at this so I'm going to ask you a couple more questions please... The Wazine bottle says 2 ounces per 2 gallons of water for each 100 birds. I promise, my hair is not blond BUT--I only have 8 hens and 1 rooster. I will put 1 ounce in 1 gallon of water for them but my question is--how do I keep them from drinking too much and how can I be sure they all drink it? They drink from a big heated dog bowl that they got used to back in the winter (unplugged now, of course). They only drink about a quart of the gallon of water a day that the bowl holds. The Wazine bottle said it needs to be consumed in 1 day or less. So--should I withhold water for maybe a half a day so they will be thirsty? I've also read various time frames that I will need to throw their eggs away after treatment--the most common being 14 days. Can you advise me on that too? I just re-read this whole post and feel like an idiot but I don't wanna kill my chickens--I'm very attached to them! Thanks in advance for your advise!

You're not going to kill your birds worming them, but the worms will eventually kill your birds if you don't worm them.
Dosage for wazine is one ounce per gallon of water whether it's for 1 chicken or 100 chickens and you're not going to overdose them no matter how much of the treated water they drink. Make sure the treated water is their only source of water to drink. Never withhold water from chickens. Put the treated water out for them first thing in the morning before letting them out of the coop. Chickens are thirsty when they first leave the coop in the mornings and will readily drink the treated water before and after eating. They'll drink the treated water during the day. When they go to the coop to roost in the evening, you can discard the treated water and provide freshwater for them to drink the following morning.
There's a 14 day slaughter withdrawal period as stated on the bottle. If the chickens are good to eat after 14 days, so are the eggs.
Repeat dosing them again in 10 to 14 days with the wazine to kill roundworm larva hatched from eggs that were missed by the initial treatment. Just follow the same procedures as before.
Consider worming your birds with safeguard liquid goat wormer in about 5 to 6 months.

I answered your PM earlier. Don't withhold water. Just put an ounce in a gallon of water in their favorite bowl, and leave it out for 24 hours--9 am to 9am, then remove it and give them fresh water. Each chicken will drink what they need, but make it their only source of water. Egg withdrawal is 14 days from treatment.

Glad Dawg53 was on here--he's the worm expert.
