How do I respond to people on here

There are a series of small options across the bottom of the space of your blue message. In this order: Report Like Quote Reply. Use Reply or Quote--they often serve the same function, though quote allows you to make many responses in the same message. Alternatively, go to the bottom of the thread and start typing in the blank space provided. (Write your reply...)

There's actually a guide to using the site somewhere around here, but I don't have the link. Since you're in "New Member Introductions" a random greeter is likely to eventually provide it.
