Help!!!!

we only incubated our eggs because our quail never got broody and they apparently arent good mothers as far as sitting on eggs go. im glad you had success with this part. as far as your question goes all i can say is she will get off when her instinct says to. sorry i dont know exactly when
 
She will get up for a couple of short breaks during the day but most of the day will be spent keeping the eggs warm. The day before they hatch she may not get off them at all.

I had one girl who abandoned her eggs as they were pipping the first time she had eggs for us and I had to finish hatching them and rear them. Since then she's managed to hatch and raise one chick each time she sits! One of her daughter's is a great mother but the other one isn't.
