Everything was fine until all of a sudden I turn around and the one baby gosling was laying on his back like stuck, he could not get up. Mom and dad both tried attacking me for trying to help. The gander stood by its side for almost a half hour and then finally he started walking away so I went up to save it and it got up and went back to his family. Hopefully he is still alright!

It could have been stuck in a small hole, or it could have health issues. Really I don't think there's much you can do, they're wild right?

Their were 7 goslings and they all seemed perfectly fine. That just happened out of the blue I just turned around and it was laying there trying to get up. I think it was a tiny dent I'm the grass but I still don't know how it got on its back. And yes they're wild. And the parents were not letting me help it. But then I finally did when the goose walked away.. I hope it's still ok.

It either tripped and fell into that dent, or like I said it could have balance issues. With wild fowl it's sometimes best to let nature take its course. If that gosling has mental or hip problems, it could grow up and breed, making more bad gened Canadian geese, potentially hurting the healthy Canadian geese population.
But if it was a simple accident, all is well :)

It was a little wobbly when I helped him back up, he was kind of limping when he went back to the rest of the family. I hope it doesn't happen again and is not health related either.
