I just set my very first eggs in my diy incubator, after I tested the heat and humidity; which was holding the temperature at 99° with 67% humidity. After having them in all night the humidity is still 67% but the temperature won't go past 97°. What can I do?

Where is your incubator losing heat? Can you give it more insulation without compromising the ventilation? Mine has vent holes on the sides, but I keep a sheepskin over the top to prevent heat loss through my viewing window and it works really well.

Good! Keep an eye on it, you'll probably have to open them up at some point if you have a hot day. Be ready to adjust your humidity if it goes up now with less ventilation.
