How old are they?

The older they are the easier it is to tell also, because the sounds will be more distinct. Despite the guides and some videos I had a hard time telling with younger ducklings.

The females sounds also seem to reflect their personality also. They will sometimes just be making noise for no reason. But the males don't make as much noise, not just volume.

Also when I go to feed my ducks, sometimes the females will hang in the back and be a bit more wary than the males (this isn't universal, but its an observation that can help).

Then also...

You are right to ask about this because I've seen in online classified listings a lot of people try to sell the males and keep females for themselves. So you should try to know soon what you have.

Now, let's see you don't want boys...hypothetically.

I would urge you to not be one of those people that only wants girls, because the males don't make much noise and it doesn't cost a lot to feed ducks. Having an extra male in won't increase your bills much. And it won't increase the noise.

And you'll also have to ask yourself, what if the one that gets hurt would be my drake? If I've only got one drake then I could lose my ability to propagate my own ducks. So having only 1 drake per 5 hens might not work, because often the one that gets injured can be the drake because the females are more wary.

Also if you have to get rid of one, they are social animals that depend on each other for survival mentality. So if you are down to one, sometimes people report that when just having one it dies of depression at some point, for no explainable reason.

I am not not an expert, but the above information is stuff gained from reading others insight and experience that I am just relating. I hope it will help you make good decisions.
