Ive Never Raiseda turkey ever....
Now I have 5 wild turkey eggs hatching.... did not think they would hatch but they are.
I need rules, tips for raising these little guys ...quickly please....Thanks in advance for the help

If you've raised chickens, you can raise turkeys. Pretty much the same rules apply. You can even feed them chick starter if you can't find turkey starter.

i start all my poults on game bird starter.Turkey poults need alot of protein.

I agree..they need turkey starter or game bird starter. Don't skimp on the feed and you'll get them off to a good start. Put marbles in the water for the first week or so to get them drinking. They like shiney objects, so the marbles encourage them to peck in the water. They require the same brooder temps as chickens, but will outgrow their space much faster, so be prepared for fast growth. Good luck with your hatch!

If these are true wild turkeys from the wild and not a hatchery you can expect some very skittish and easily spooked birds. Their wings will develop very quickly.
