IM Finally opening a hatchery! i buff orpingtons, Rhode island reds,Mille Fleur De'uccle, hoping to get some blue,black/splash orpingtons also. i have white and black silkies and hoping to get a blue and lavender pair later on. i also have coturnix quail and im wondering what other breeds is a must? that is very popular and i should start breeding? i also have Pekins and Cayuga's and am hoping to get some blue swedish duck soon!:Dand i also have guineas i am breeding

Also some good idea's for a name.

I would suggest sebrights and cochins and maybe some silkies or polish

I second Tick's recomendation - I always sell out of rocks before anything else (usually the barred rocks - everyone loves those around here.) (oddly enough no one around here wanted the partridge rocks, though, but probably just a local thing).

People also keep wanting "red chickens" but I refuse to raise those

The closest I come to them is Buff Orpingtons.

Light Brahmas are also popular around here, but perhaps in Alaska the snow would clump on their feet and not be so good for winters up there.

So, are your parents getting your business license for you, since you're not old enough to get one yourself? Just curious...
