help!!!!!

does anybody know what kind of creature eats the head and breast out of a chicken and leaves the rest? i found one dead like that today in the coop. nothing else bothered and no holes in the house or run. im clueless

Sounds like a raccoon.

I had coons and possums both do that, then I put roofs on wire, locked up at night and used hotwire....no loses.

Coons, opossums, Great horned owls and many others. Is the coop locked at night? If so what is the largest sized opening that something might enter through? Give us more information, and perhaps we can narrow down the list.
