HELP!!!

I have four chicks out and two pipped eggs on day 21. I'm using the egg carton method and the problem is, one of the eggs started zipping on the side of the egg and not the top. It's running the zip right into the carton's side. Hasn't moved past the side of the carton. Should I sit on my hands and wait, or should I take it out of the carton and throw paper towels in bator to bring humidity back up?

probably need to help quickly take warm water with you to boost humid back up. go in and right adjust it , add warm water and back out

I'm not sure how long the chick was stuck but by the time I went to help, it was to late
