HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

My polish hen Alice has a mite problem, and i was checking to see if the feathers were growing back and i smelt something realy bad. Her vent and all the feathers around it were covered in some white goo. she has also been laying eggs with blood on them. Whats wrong? Will she be better by july? Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there! You'll definitely want to get some poultry dust on her, see if that helps the goo around her vent.

we added some to all her favorite dust bath spots yesterday

Thats great, but to make sure it gets all over you may want to apply some directly. What I do is (I assume your in 4h?) do the chicken hold, gently lay them on their back (on a towel or something that can get poison on it...) dust underneath their wings really well and their vent and buttfluff; and if its really bad, the hackles, shoulders, and saddles.

Thanks if alice is better by july she might have a shot at grand champion this year. I also want to beat my friend at showmanship. She beat me by 2 points last year You probly wouldnt know her
