I would also like to know. I had a hen sitting on eggs and then she got mixed up and didn't sit on the eggs for 3 or 4 days. They only had occasionally a hen sitting while laying an egg. 4 of the five hatched but it was a delayed hatch. The last one hatched a week after the expected date.
