Not sure were to post this tried looking for it also. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to order chicken eggs. I Want to get silkies and some that lay green blue eggs thanks

silkies are very difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age and sometimes not till they lay or crow. I know some places will sell very young ones sexed, for an additional price. But, I wouldn't put any faith in that. Hatchery birds will not look like the beautiful fluffy silkies you see from breeders. I would suspect they might even have the "broodiness" bred out of them also.
