Helping Hatchlings?

Ive got 2 eggs that have holes pecked thru and i can see the beaks moving around but they have been that way for about 8 hrs now. At what point do you go in and attempt to save the chicks?

Give them at least 24 hours, if not longer.. It takes time for them to gather their energy and absorb the yoke before they hatch completely.

As tempting as it is...Leave the incubator closed. I have lost many chicks from "helping" them. This time I think I will truly be in Lockdown, and not open it at all until they are all done lol....though it is super hard. (I got a bator with a completely clear top, so that helps me)
