Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to having chickens and have gone a long way! I pretty know all the things you should when it comes to keeping chickens! Only one thing I don't is the breeds. Pls I always get so confused -
So I need some help with deciphering the breed of my 6 month old hen Kaak. Here she is!

Hey @NatJ I did as you told:) Now help pleasee😄

Interesting hen.

Gold Birchen, green legs, white earlobes. I don't know any breeds that have those features combined. Maybe except a Game Hen, but she's too heavy for a Game hen.

I'm leaning towards a mixed breed.

How big is she? Bantam or standard size? Large or small standard?

What country are you in? Different breeds are common in different countries.

I see single comb, white earlobes, dark legs with a bit of yellow showing near the bottoms of the feet, no feathers on the feet, gold birchen color pattern.

She most likely has parents with single combs, white earlobes, clean legs (=no feathers on the feet). With that egg color, she might have one parent of a white-egg breed and one of a brown-egg breed.

Here's her egg. Small and light brown

A very light cream. If I'm right about Leghorn in the genes, the white egg gene dilutes brown to light brown, or cream.

Or she could just be a mix of two breeds that lays cream eggs. Like I said it's hard to know for sure.

Standard size.

South east Asia

I don't have any chickens with feathers on feet so makes sense!
